Pastoral Care

Caring for one-another

God calls us all to look beyond ourselves, and our church, and to meet the needs to those around us. Here at KBC we love serving our community and would love to have you give a helping hand too.

Below are a few things we do to suport each other and our community. If you need help right now, please get in touch with the office.

Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer. A group of people are available to confidentially hear your prayer needs and pray for you.

Funerals and Weddings

Gareth is a registered Baptist Celebrant and available to take weddings and funerals. Please contact the office for further information.

Budget Course

Cheryl is a registered budget course facilitator and enjoys helping people get their budgeting back on track. Courses are run on demand. Please contact the office to register your interest.

Home Visits

The Co-Pastors, Gareth & Andie, regularly do home visits to provide support, prayer, spiritual direction and wisdom to whatever season you are in.

South Kaipara Good Food

Our local food bank is South Kaipara Good Food. They are more than a food bank though! They are addressing food insecurity through a whole-of-community approach

If you need assistance with kai please visit: https://skgf.org.nz/kai-assist/

This ministry is supported by Kumeu Baptist financially, prayerfully and service.

Meals that Heal

We all have times when things are harder because of the unexpected. Sickness, death, job loss and the arrival of a new baby can bring extra demands. Meals that Heal help by providing a few meals to support you during this time.

If are in need please contact us to talk more.
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’  The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’  There is no commandment greater than these."
