We believe God speaks to kids just as much as adults and love to help children develop their connection with Him. 

Kumeū Kids is the name of the ministry for children 0-10. You will know the leaders who are on each week by the bright blue t-shirt they wear.

On a Sunday the children worship with their parents at Huapai School Hall. You will often hear the children up the front sharing from their week and celebrating good news with everyone (and they get a little lolly each time!). After this the children (and parents of under 2s) are invited to the next door classrooms (sign posted with the blue signs). Here we start with snack and catching up on the week followed by some time talking with God. Most of the time we learn the same story as those in the hall and do several activities around it in age based groups. We learn one Bible verse each term to help us know God's promises.

As a parent, grandparent or guardian you are welcome to come with your child/grandchild to learn alongside them. Our Kumeu Kids leaders are all police vetted and endorsed by eldership. They would love to see you and talk more about parenting for faith.

The team is passionate about helping the children be disciples of Jesus in our four pillars Live, Care, Teach, and Grow. And to support parents and grandarents in their role teaching children.
