Who is Jesus? Why did he die on the cross, rise from the dead and ascend to heaven? What does this mean for me? my family? Simply put, Jesus is the hero of the story of the Bible. Welcome the family! Start by talking with God about why you have made this decision and what it means to you. You can say it out loud, in your head or write it down in a journal. However you choose to talk with God, remember he hears you and loves you.
There are lots of things you can do next. Get yourself a Bible if you don't have one already. KBC have plenty available for you if you need one. You can get in touch with one of the Pastors to disciple you in the coming weeks. Try downloading the YouVersion Bible app and start one of their devotional courses.
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
